I emailed support and they explained that something on their end caused my email to "bounce" instead of my notifications being emailed to me. Erika (with customer support at Skool) she fixed it on her end and that moving forward I should receive notifications. Thanks @Ryan Duncan and @Dave Donoghue for helping me troubleshoot! I love this community.

I did at first too. But then they stopped.
Idea: Youtube series.. starting a skool community from absolutely ZERO
alright, so here's the idea. I'm not committed, yet, but if I can figure out the details.. I could be. In video games, you get to pick the difficulty mode. I'm thinking about trying to get to $10k/m... from zero... in insane mode... as fast as possible. In the last few years I've made 8mil, have an audience of around 10k, and a lot of this is thanks to Sam. But I want to document the process, If I had to start from zero all over again. Idea: - Start new a social media channel (possibly not even use my face or name) - I can't promote to any of my existing audience or clients. - I start a brand new low-ticket community on skool, in a niche outside of business coaching (my main niche) - I can't use previous case studies or testimonials, and I can't refer to any of previous successes (e.g. "You should trust me, I've made a lot of money online") - Working on this only 1 hour a day - I can only pay for softwares or team members out of money from this new offer. - See how fast I can get to $10k/m. - Document the whole process for a youtube series. - Bonus: see if I can get on skool games leaderboard 😅 Obviously I still have my skills and expertise, but I'd try and take everything else back to zero. 1. do you like the idea? 2. what would you add/change/remove to make it even harder? Selfish reason: Grow my youtube channel. Bigger reason: document the entire process to go from zero to $10k/m and help show others it's possible. Honestly, it sounds like a lot of work. I'm not IN yet. But i'm considering it. Would love to know your thoughts 🙏🏼

@Dan Bolton You’re the coach I’m hiring this year. I love what you’ve learned from @Sam Ovens and his mastermind model. Especially his VSL via with Google doc/loom video. So simple. So transparent. No hard selling. Just invitation.

@Dan Bolton I would prefer to watch this. It’s more impactful. ….Taking people to get their businesses to $10k a month. Not that your personal goal of a Skool Community of $10k a month is anything small. It’s a big goal too. Like you share in your content, what makes business easier and profitable is when you’re doing what you love with who you love. So I think it would go back to you and ask, which excites you more? Which one is more fun?
What to do When Learning Takes a Backseat to Sales? 🚫💰
Ah, the age-old tradition of turning community DMs into a marketplace on Skool. 🎓 Because who needs education when you can sell, am I right? It's like a free-for-all out there, with members joining just to hawk their wares, completely missing the point of a community. But fear not, noble community members! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️ How do we keep the chaos at bay and preserve our sanity? 🤪 Let's brainstorm some genius ideas, rules, and suggestions to curb the sales frenzy and actually foster meaningful interaction. 🤔💡 Let's turn the potential circus into a well-oiled collaboration machine! 🎪🤹‍♂️

@Akassh Ashok Gupta Skool’s and @Sam Ovens mission is clear, helping a billion people find community. I pray marketers and business people don’t dilute the brand that Sam created. I hated making a course/curriculum. It was so painful. I realize now because I inherently knew that people weren’t really working with me for strategy, they wanted to be seen, heard and understood on our calls and in our community. When I found Skool, I felt like crying I was so happy. Sam actually created the business model I never knew I always wanted. And I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. He made it so a community can be the business, instead of what the online world does now which is “add a community to your business”. It’s an afterthought. We have people that want money outsourcing community because to them it feels annoying, time consuming or like a lot of work. It’s sad. They want to automate connection. Get a VA to run conversations. They will fail. Mark my words. Because people know when they’re a number and not seen treated with care and love. I went to university and studied organizational leadership. It’s not a coincidence that Skool feels amazing to my brain and body. I absolutely love it and it’s my goal to serve and commune with as many women possible in my community and here in the Skool Community group. Xoxo

Why I Use 2 Skool Communities (1 Free, 1 Paid)
We made $50,000 last month using 2 Skool communities but... Do YOU need 2 communities? Maybe not. Let's find out: I just made a video going into depth on why we decided to use 2 communities, and why it makes sense for us from a profit perspective using our client acquisition method, however... Every business is unique... So you should ask yourself: • Am I using appointment setters? If so, 2 communities might be best. • Do I want to treat my prospects differently than my paying clients? If so, 2 communities might be best. • Am I okay with mixing paying members and free members together? If so, 1 community may be fine for you. Watch the vid below for more info to help you decide if 1 or 2 communities is best for you. Ted ✌🏼 P.S. Want 1 on 1 help setting up your Skool community (at no charge)? Send me a DM with the word "SKOOL" & I'll set yours up with you for free so it's set up like mine.

@Clinton Powell part 2: I create separate zaps for each product and Zapier gives different customers different access to different products in that private (but free) Skool Community.

@Marisa Pell Yeah of course. I have 3 groups. The first group is a skool subscription for $47 a month where I'm mentoring my community and bringing in people that can't yet afford my more high ticket coaching program. They get access to a lot of my coaching content, the other woman and great collaboration. The second one is private and is for women that buy my mini-course with a one-time payment and the course lives inside that community. I'm working on selling them into my subscription community or high ticket mentorship. And the third group is a private group for my mentorship community that's high ticket. They are each very different and at different levels of access to me and certain content. I hope that makes sense but feel free to DM me or comment here.
