Late Discovery ADHD
Welp. I'm 65. And I have ADHD. Who knew? I am experiencing more grief than relief at the moment. Losing jobs, losing friends, saying the wrong thing, misconstruing conversations, severe rejection sensitivity, misunderstood. Experiencing all of this and not understanding why. Why am I so different? Why am I not normal? Wow. So. Here I am!

@Sara Waithe Sorry to hear about your late discovery - like you said so much loss, anger, and grief.
Syntax Errors & Misspellings
I am appalled by syntax errors and misspellings. Whenever I see these, my blood starts to boil. I notice these on the ticker during a live ESPN show, in the first paragraph of a Newsweek article, in the social media posts of large corporations, on a sign in a small business, on a flyer printed by a business and left on my door. I am only getting started! I will take a picture or a screenshot so I can continually annoy myself. I don't understand. Are people stupid or careless? Do they not care? Why does it feel like I am the only one who notices? Does this bother anyone else? Fun fact: I have an ADHD assessment scheduled for this Monday. The company sent me a text to "comfirm" the appointment.

@Renee Van keulen Insane, right? Laughable, probably. I read a book that was the winner of the National Book Critics Circle. The author referred to a well known book with the incorrect title. I stopped reading it.

@Tracy Weiss Good point - in terms of captions, there are many errors, and those actually don't bother me. The ESPN example is a ticker with news/scores, etc., (not AI, I don't think) and every day of every week it says "progrum". LOL
Other Supplements that Might Help
Yesterday, I wrote about Magnesium but today I also saw some research mentioning a few other nutrients that sometimes come up with ADHD - one Jim spoke about yesterday which is • Omega-3 (fish oil), which help the brain and focus support. Also, Vitamin D, which is a mood and brain function and potassium will help with the magnesium to be absorbed as well and Zinc, which can aid in neurotransmitter support, and lastly, Iron – sometimes low in people with ADHD (get yours checked). I’m still learning about all this, but it’s fascinating how nutrition can affect the brain. Has anyone else experimented with supplements that helped them? I don't take anything right now (except vitamin D) so I'm wondering if these I should also buy?

So many supplement options that may help. The ones that have worked for me (and everyone is different) are L-theanine and Magnesium Glycinate. My experience with these is that just like medications, I needed to find the appropriate dosage. I have seen Saffron being suggested. I found gummies, but tasted horrible, so not sure of the efficacy.
Free blueprint vs. the full program❓
Everyone who stays active in this community for 50 days after joining gets the 6-week blueprint as a free PDF. That's a promise. The PDF gives you the framework. Identity, biology, emotions, productivity, integration. For some of you, that will be enough. But if you're anything like me, you already know deep down that information alone won't get you there. You need structure. You need someone checking in. You need an environment that holds you when life gets loud, when motivation fades, and when that voice whispers "I'll start Monday." That's what the live program is for. Free blueprint (after 50 active days) - PDF covering the framework - Self-paced, work through it on your own 6-week live program - Live weekly training and group coaching with Jim - Harmony AI (Sage) that learns you personally through daily check-ins - Six AI transformation reports that build on each other - Body doubling sessions with the group - Live somatic breathwork session in week 4 - Well-being tracking dashboard - Direct DM access to Jim - All recordings if you miss a session 👉 If you want to join the next round, click here. ⚠️ Limited spots available ✅ 100% Money-back guarantee if you don't improve (no questions asked) 💰 Payment plan available DM Jim
