Yesterday, I wrote about Magnesium but today I also saw some research mentioning a few other nutrients that sometimes come up with ADHD - one Jim spoke about yesterday which is
• Omega-3 (fish oil), which help the brain and focus support. Also, Vitamin D, which is a mood and brain function and potassium will help with the magnesium to be absorbed as well and Zinc, which can aid in neurotransmitter support, and lastly, Iron – sometimes low in people with ADHD (get yours checked).
I’m still learning about all this, but it’s fascinating how nutrition can affect the brain.
Has anyone else experimented with supplements that helped them? I don't take anything right now (except vitamin D) so I'm wondering if these I should also buy?
