Speaking personally, every time a community moves to discord I tend to disengage. I like having multiple channels, but I think the lack of conversation threads and sorting the timeline by recent engagement makes the discord overwhelming. I always feel like I'm the guy that walks into a conversation half way through and I don't know how to participate without interrupting. CreatorNow uses a platform called Geneva which seems to operate similar to Slack, and Matt D'Avella uses circle, which is kind of a cross between slack and Skool. that one is. probably the best I've encountered, although still on the complex side.

@Jody De Mink Thank you for this perspective! my concern is that when my video is only at say, 100 views, it may not be worthwhile to switch since the data set isn't sufficient? Ill check out the tubebuddy tool!
