I splurged recently on a number of decants to sample. This is my first Guerlain fragrance. I like the sweetness and cherry from the outset, but then it settles into a more subtle vanilla and nuttiness. I really like it. If you have experience with the other fragrances in this line, which are your favorites?

Last week I went to Germany with the missus and had a very interesting experience to say the least. The place we stayed at was surrounded by junkies, aggressive/homeless people, and not a single second of sunlight. Which obviously sounds like the ideal romantic getaway. (kidding, of course) But despite the rough start, we replanned our whole 4-day holiday on the fly... and had a blast. From running through the rain and laughing our ass off in a charming old German town, to visiting some of the biggest fragrance stores in the Netherlands... We turned what could’ve been one of our worst trips ever into an unforgettable memory. With patience, love, and most importantly, God, we found a way to make it amazing together. ------- This isn’t just a post with pics of my new scents and places we visited, it’s a reminder to look for the silver lining in even the worst situations. ------- That being said, I hope you all have a blessed day and enjoy the rest of your week!

I am already looking forward to Spring/Summer what fragrance would you consider a good pickup

This is the latest from Jean Paul Gaultier, it starts of smelling like the original Le Male but with some improvements to not feel dated. The mid is gone quick and the dry down is a Anise filled, floral, spicy and a bit sweet fragrance that is quite unique but still familiar due to the Le male DNA. If you don´t like anise this one is not for you. Longevity and projection is medium on my skin maybe 4-6 hours and projects 1-2 feet for 2 hours. This is only the first wearing so it gets 7/10 from me. Its a interesting take on a the original DNA.
