Liberty Mountain
I took advantage of my Epic season pass this morning by checking out a new mountain. I really liked the layout of this mountain. The ski school and beginner slopes were on the "front" side with the harder slopes on the "back" side of the mountain. Conditions weren't the greatest with fresh snow on top of the ice that formed from the warmer temperatures last week. By my last 2 runs, I struggled to turn my skis with the build up of snow, so I decided to quit instead of risk blowing out a knee. Speaking of which, if we have any snowboarders or skiers in the group who are local or in the northeast, @Jenna Bower and I want to put a feeler out there if anyone would like to meet up next year? We're thinking maybe renting an AirBnb and going to Hunter. At this point, no definitive plans will be made, just wanted to put the feeler out there.

@Kim Dugan Let's do it! I know @Jenna Bower and I go to Blue Mountain a lot. I also have 6 buddy passes that give discounted lift tickets to Jack Frost. I'd be happy to go with you. Actually, we just interviewed someone who is a ski instructor at Jack Frost. When my boss asked my thoughts about him, I had to say well, I might be a little biased because of our bind for our love of skiing. 🤣

Double Workout
I got both Core Circuit and Burn and Restore completed this morning. While it was long, I actually enjoyed the 2 workouts together. There's a chance that I may continue doing that for the rest of the program, if I have the time. In the meantime, week 3 of Phase 1 is done. I maintained my weight selection which was my goal. I begin Phase 2 next week. My goal with Phase 2 week 1 is to increase weight where I can in the last set. Next week is also going to be a weird week. I leave for my WV trip on Thursday with a stop to do some skiing on my way. But I am very excited for this trip and to meet some new people.

We finally took down our christmas tree and the lights off the house. Then we went for a walk around the neighborhood. It’s been a pretty good Monday with the hubby having the day off. Forgot to grab a picture

Full Body Pull 1
Last time doing this workout in this phase. I am feeling very good about my weight selection. I again maintained last week's weights for all 3 sets. It was definitely challenging but I feel stronger for it. My goal for Week 1 of Phase 2 is to increase my weights where I can. I might have to use 1 dumbell for the kickstand deadlift so I can go heavier with the pullover and kickstand row. I only have one 30 lb weight and everything heavier is my adjustable weights. Kickstand dead lift - 25 lbs Side lunge - 15 lbs Pullover - 30 lbs Kickstand row - 30 lbs Bicep curls - 12.5 lbs Side note: why do I feel like I am always working my arms to death on the days I wash my hair???
