What a day!
It’s only Tuesday! Feels like it should be Wednesday or even Friday already! Riley woke up around 2:30, and by the time she was back to sleep, it was just after 3, so I figured I’d get changed and do my workout. I didn’t really have any plans to do it today, but why not? Glad I did. As I was getting dressed this morning, we got a notice that my son’s school was on a 2-hr delay… and the roads are just wet. So it put a damper on things, so say the least lol both my husband and I are working from home to get him on the bus and to take care of the little girl. It’s been a fun few hours. Haha

This week…
it’s been a while… This week has been tiring! Ryan’s pap went into the hospital, Ryan got into a minor car accident, we had to move everything that was in our basement tot he main floor… we got new flooring yesterday (yay!) now we have to move things back into the basement. It’s been busy with work and taking care of Leo. Pap is back home and Ryan’s car will be totally covered, thank goodness! I just walked a mile and ran a mile with Leo.. felt great to move! Excited to finally have my workout space again!

Up Early
Super proud of myself this morning. I got up with my alarm this morning to get my workout in since I had an appointment. Just as I started the kid woke up so I went to get her and kept going. A couple of months ago I would have just given up but not know. I know it is important to me to show her what it looks like take care of myself. No excuses this morning. Have a great Monday.

I’m still getting over being sick. I now have a cough that is lingering plus my voice has gone which is fun. Had a some rough sleep last so our morning and routine is off. But that’s okay. Just got roll with it.

This is honestly only possible because I set a goal and stayed intentional! I was in a meeting all day with breaks basically just to pee and heat up my food… so I parked far away, took the steps intentionally, and just tried to remember to move when I could even around the room between 9am and 4pm. Why do I aim for movement throughout the day? Besides it being good for overall health, it helps with my focus midday to reset, and honestly, it ups my calorie burn! The more you move, the more you burn calories, and the easier it is to get into a calorie deficit if that’s something you’re working towards!
