Tuesday morning walk.
Was in a funk last week and didn’t walk much. Today was better and hit outside. It was a lovely morning for a walk.

Yesterday I woke up and did 30Day Booty Boost Glute Strength in the humidity, wow! Second workout was after the fundraiser at the brewery and spent an hour at the pool with Wesley!! 🥰 It’s a rest day from official workouts today but I did manage to transplant a few plants this morning in the garden before it warmed up and the F1 race started. Had brunch (NOT healthy 😆) for lunch but have my meals on point the rest of today and planning to enjoy a Shirley Temple Poppi outside for a little “fun”!! Even though I’m off for the summer I act like Mondays are just as important and I’m excited to have more time to do some things that have been neglected lately… and plenty of quality fuel now that I have extra time to plan and prep, too!

Friday and LAST DAY OF WORK!
Woohoo!!! it feels like this has been a marathon of a week. Between my own personal wave of emotions, cramming to make sure all of the boxes get checked for the last week of the program, supporting staff, poor sleep, and soreness that lasted forever lol... I feel like I can finally take a deep breath! Phew! Spin was wonderful this morning, despite being minorly sleep deprived from this week, Preworkout powered me through and I felt like it was a great ride. I am appreciative of my body and it's strength, and I am also proud of the way it looks -- Even as I strive to get stronger and continue to build muscle. Wishing you an amazing weekend, friends!

Glute endurance
Ran short on time today unintentionally but I’m sort of glad. My body could use the lighter workout today (no weights, just the band) and it was shorter - only 33 mins. I didn’t enjoy this one. I don’t always feel like the muscle gets targeted right with a band and it feels like it’s doing nothing or I spend more time trying to adjust than working which is annoying. I’m ragey today so I’m generally in a foul mood so maybe it’s just that 😂. I need sleep. 2 more days of work! Just trying to get through and stay as positive as possible! 🫶🏼
