There’s a specific kind of exhaustion that’s hard to explain, especially for people who are intelligent, functional, and fully aware of what’s happening around them. It doesn’t feel like depression. It’s not a nervous system crash, and it’s not the kind of burnout you recover from with time off.
It’s the fatigue that sets in when you know too much, but can’t move yet.
Not because you’re stuck emotionally, but because you haven’t yet built the structure required to exit what you now see clearly.
