Go to the Classroom section and pick one of our 10 free woodworking plans. Everything’s laid out for you with clear, step-by-step instructions and videos.
Build it and post your project here in the community—either as a new post or comment

The plans are perfect for beginners, but feel free to customize and make them your own if you want to get creative!

That’s it—no cost, no catch. Just pick a plan, build, and share.

🏆 How to Win – Our Leaderboard System

We’re keeping it fun and community-driven. Here’s how scoring works:

👍 Every like on your post or comment = 1 point

The more people engage with your project, the more points you earn. At the end of April, the Top 3 woodworkers on the leaderboard will win the following Sawinery gift cards they can use to buy tools at The Sawinery Woodworking store:

🥇 1st place – $300 gift card

🥈 2nd place – $200 gift card

🥉 3rd place – $100 gift card

And just for jumping in early, the first 50 people who post their project will each get a $25 Sawinery gift card instantly. But once those 50 spots are gone, they’re gone—so don’t wait.

Remember, your project must be based upon the 10 plans listed above. There are a lot of great projects, that a lot of people are doing; but if they're not based on those plans, they're not eligible for the challenge.
