Melanotan and family melanoma history

I was planning to dose melanotan for a month or so before our family trip to Bali to prevent sunburn. I was reading the Dr.Seeds Peptide Protocol book and it said Melanotan is contraindicated for people with a family history of skin cancers including but not limited to melanoma. My mom falls into this category. Does anyone know more about this?

( I tend to ignore all the “peptides cause cancer” fear mongering out there but Dr.Seeds seems a more reputable source of info. And, of course, melanoma is nothing to mess around with). Thoughts? Papers? Help!
