I’d love for you to do an episode on these so we can understand safety profile and how/if to stack them

Hi @Tara West To be more specific, I want to know about the safety of orally consuming animal organs like thymus gland and brain etc. and how they’ve managed to maintain bioactive compounds and make them safe
Melanotan and family melanoma history
I was planning to dose melanotan for a month or so before our family trip to Bali to prevent sunburn. I was reading the Dr.Seeds Peptide Protocol book and it said Melanotan is contraindicated for people with a family history of skin cancers including but not limited to melanoma. My mom falls into this category. Does anyone know more about this? ( I tend to ignore all the “peptides cause cancer” fear mongering out there but Dr.Seeds seems a more reputable source of info. And, of course, melanoma is nothing to mess around with). Thoughts? Papers? Help!

Kisspeptin for HA
I have had hypothalamic amenorrhea for many years and have read that kisspeptin is being studied as a promising treatment. I'm planning to add it to my stack - 0.25 mg daily. Have any other women here used kiss to restore their period/balance their hormones? Curious to hear others' experience using this peptide! I'm also not sure how to cycle it, and I've heard different opinions about dosing too...

Energy-Which one to start first, NAD+, MOT-C, 5-Amino-1MQ?
Hello All, Question about where to start with addressing energy. I am fairly new to peptides. I am 58 years old and have been an athlete most of my life. I am consistent with my work outs and my hormones are optimized. I am currently running Tirz and have reached my goal weight so I am tapering back. I am just about to finish GHKCU and going to switch to KLOW. I have been on the struggle bus with consistent energy for several years. I wanted to see how peptides could help. I feel like my foundations with diet, exercise, sleep are good but I need a bit of a pop. Ideally would like to move to the energy stack (NAD+, MOTS-C, and 5-Amino-1MQ) that Tara speaks to on her podcast but I believe since I have not run any of these before it is best to start with one. Lately, (this is new the last few months) I have a hard time starting in the morning and for years I have definite afternoon crash of energy. I am looking to have sustained energy throughout the day and not sure which of these 3 to start with singularly. I would love to hear any experience or advice. Yours in health, Peggy DL

I was advised by my practitioner to start with NAD+, with a lower starting dose and then build up for 2-3 weeks. If that’s going well, then add MOTS-C and stack them for 8 weeks. I’ve done the first part of the plan but am waiting on BAC water to reconstitute my MOTS-C to continue. The NAD+ has been remarkably stabilizing to my energy levels overall and to my nervous system.
Keto / low Leptin recovery?
Hello! I’m new here, a very happy to have found this group. Has anyone else here had experience using peptides to regain stability after years of ketosis, fasting and low Leptin? I was a follower of Dr. Courtney Hunt’s protocols and had some pretty amazing healing of autoimmune issues by cycling ketosis and fasting. But ultimately, my Leptin tanked to .2 and my testosterone flatlined. Even though my DEXA scan showed near perfect body composition, my body was reacting to the deprivation that got me to that point. I’ve been trying to rebuild stability in my body for a year by re-introducing carbs and building muscle, but my appetite is now outpacing my burn rate pretty significantly and I’m trying to avoid going back to keto and fasting again as a solution. I think my body may still want to go back to a set point from 6 years ago (before I starting fasting to heal Long Covid an hashimotos) when I weighed 40 lbs more and was somewhat sedentary. Now I’m trying to figure out if I can nudge my body into a recomp, and then into maintenance with peptides rather than with fasting and eating loads of fat, all without setting off the alarm bells of low Leptin and everything downstream of that. I’m considering Ipamorelin/Tessamorelin, I’m also considering Tirz and Reta of course, though I’m a little wary of the mechanism of action something akin to fasting, or beinf being satiation of appetite or slow gastric emptying as that is already a problem . . My practitioner recommended NAD+ and SS31, and patience. I’d love to hear other opinions on what to stack for recoup when you are NOT high Leptin. Thanks 👋
