05/08 Check In

I’ve been absent for a while trying to get settled into the new place after the move. Wisdom to be shared:

-It’s probably best to either hire movers if you have a full-time job or at least start packing everything a few months out versus one month out. Plenty of totes were extremely handy for the move.

-Instead of paying for a U-Haul just to drive it down there, I bought a bus to move everything and now I have some potential return on investment or I can turn the thing into a food cart of some sort. Paid about what I would’ve paid for the U-Haul although I got pretty lucky on the deal.

It was a pretty stressful move overall and I lost my temper from time to time, but I usually hold things in so I don’t know if it was for better or for worse.

Hopefully I can rejoin the tribe after we get everything back on track…thanks to everyone who’s stayed consistent in their posts and I hope that I can be more accountable moving forward.
