Something interesting I’ve found on this second week of Fast40 is I’ve really had to adjust and account for my menstrual cycle and think of it in a way I never have before. I’ve found myself so so frustrated by the scale not moving/going up for a few days and after talking to Dr. Cody I reframed it in a way that’s not frustrating but something amazing my body goes through to prepare for kids one day, etc. and that means more energy required which = MORE FOOD! I’ve upped my oz by over 2 ounces.
I’m also a fitness coach and literally had a girl pull me aside last night to ask if it was normal for her energy to be lower during her cycle and I said funny enough I’m learning this myself we have to eat more as our body requires way more energy. She was like I never actually heard it that way or thought about how much our bodies require during the cycle.
