Skincare products
Hey does anyone have a good skincare they would recommend. I’ve noticed more wrinkles since I lost 20 lbs. more of a leathery look which has never been apart of my normal skin Would love some help in this area

Egg whites will be my next try!!! I do have to say that my skin feels great with limited moisturizer. I typically had dry skin. Would use a rich cream/oil. I now use the oil-free Neutrogena products. My skin looks and feels great. During my first forty days I had a couple of Pimples. They were gone within a day or so. Dr. Cody assured me it was the fat finding its way out. Would take a few blemishes for the great outcome!!!
Brussel sprouts slaw
Shred 1 lb of Brussel sprouts. In large bowl mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard (365 organic), 1/2 teaspoon of stevia, 1 garlic clove minced. Add Brussels sprouts. Add 1/4 cup of red onions. Mix everything. Then I use equal parts Brussel sprouts slaw, apples, chicken.

I tried the slaw recipe tonight. I don’t have stevia so used juice from an orange. It was very tasty. Made a big enough batch and will add the protein tomorrow for lunch!
Travel hack | freeze portions to travel easier
I’ve been doing a lot of week long travel lately and I find the best way to prep is to do it all at once and then freeze the food in freezer safe bags. This gives me built in ice packs that I don’t have to bring home and keeps the food fresh and mostly still frozen when I arrive. I write on the bag what is in it portion wise and then it is all frozen when I get there. Most hotels have mini fridges in the room or you can request one. They have to give it to you or offer an alternative because of medical reasons. If you do bring ice packs they have always let me store them in the staff fridge. They will put your room number on it so when you need it you just ask. I typically call down before I head out of the room so it’s ready for me when I get downstairs.

Week 4 results (overall: -13.7 lbs, week: -2.1 lbs)
Hi all, Week 4 accountability check, I’m down 2.1 lbs this week and -13.7 overall. I had a bit of a stressful week this week but overall it was a good week. I was a bit frustrated at times due to stress and found myself wanting to eat bad foods not due to stress but more out of overwhelm and frustration and wanting to give in especially when I went into the grocery store. I resisted as I reminded myself how good I feel overall and that I deserve to feel good. I so proud of myself for not giving in a just taking it 1 day at a time. Just keep swimming as Dory would say. I’m so grateful to have this group to continue to support me on my journey. I have big travel coming up the next two weeks so keep me in your prayers. Thank you Skool Group for the constant support.

Be proud of what you have already done! Keep up the good work and it will pay off. I travel all the time…I’m a flight attendant for a major airline. For the time you are away from home bring your own food. I found that my protein was were going out was the most difficult so bring your own. Cook what you need and portion it in baggies. Might have 1 oz baggies in case you increase your portion size. A lunch box the size of your purse is a good investment. Have a room with a refrigerator. Restaurants can always get you steamed veggies and fresh fruit. Would avoid fast food restaurants. Thought Chick-fil-A.was a good option—no! Can always pick up apples, pears, oranges at hotels. You can do it! If you need any more suggestions let me know!
Week 3 results (overall: 11.6 lbs, week: 2.2 lbs
Hi all, Week 3 accountability check, I’m down 2.2 lbs this week and 11.6 overall. I had a bit of a stressful week this week but overall it was a good week. My clothes are starting to fit looser and mental clarity is higher. I’m grateful for this community and this program. I feel like I’ve got my routine back on track and getting control back to my life. The confidence I’ve gotten by following my routine and committing to myself has helped me gain my accountability and confidence to keep other commitments to myself and others. Thank you Skool Group.
