Keep it simple !!!
Just something I wanted to share from this morning. I’ve realized that once I understood my body and how important fueling is - the formula becomes pretty simple! This round started off frustrating for me because I was fighting the daily habits (fueling, water, adding in too much movement) and now I’m stepping back and focusing on the big areas: 1. Fuel 8 oz 2. Upping ounces if movement is up 3. Water intake 3. Sleep Hope this encourages someone today!!!

Broke out of the 150’s
Finally dropped out of the 150’s, hit 149.4 this morning. This round has been so much more about learning how to fuel properly … yesterday I upped my ounces by 1 full ounce as I was struggling in between meals with getting hungry. Upped my ounces and woke up with a big scale win!
Big learnings - Menstrual Cycle
Something interesting I’ve found on this second week of Fast40 is I’ve really had to adjust and account for my menstrual cycle and think of it in a way I never have before. I’ve found myself so so frustrated by the scale not moving/going up for a few days and after talking to Dr. Cody I reframed it in a way that’s not frustrating but something amazing my body goes through to prepare for kids one day, etc. and that means more energy required which = MORE FOOD! I’ve upped my oz by over 2 ounces. I’m also a fitness coach and literally had a girl pull me aside last night to ask if it was normal for her energy to be lower during her cycle and I said funny enough I’m learning this myself we have to eat more as our body requires way more energy. She was like I never actually heard it that way or thought about how much our bodies require during the cycle. Learning something new every day ❤️

Hi all! Just wanted to share a win from yesterday. On my first reduction day I felt pretty horrible and hungry the whole day. Yesterday I upped my ounces to 7 oz and woke up down -1.8 lbs. felt far more satisfied food wise. Insane to think more food and down to weight!
