I’m a FAST40 grad - here’s what I’m focused on now…
I wanted to share a little perspective and encouragement for anyone here who’s struggling or feeling stuck. Before I did the Fast 40 with Dr. Cody Goldman, I was gaining weight no matter what I did. I was trying, I was paying attention, I was working hard, and nothing was working. Between Hashimoto’s, hormone imbalance, and autoimmune issues, my body just felt completely out of sync and honestly, pretty defeating. Before I ever found Dr. Cody, I spent three months working with a nutritionist and still continued to gain weight consistently. Even before that, I was doing body conditioning and training, eating six meals a day, working out six days a week, and following what most people would consider “doing everything right.” I knew how to be disciplined. I knew how to show up. But nothing was changing, because my body didn’t need more effort, it needed the right approach. This program helped reset more than just my eating, it helped reset my mindset and my relationship with my health. Since completing it, and it’s been about three years now, I’ve stayed consistent. Not perfect, but consistent. I focus on whole foods, avoid processed and canned foods, stay away from sugary drinks, and do my best to support my body with the supplements it actually needs. More than anything, Dr. Cody taught me how to understand and recognize what my body needs. That’s the part that changed everything. This isn’t just a program to “get results”, it teaches you how to read your body so you can support it long term. Now I know that when I don’t take care of myself, I feel it. My body tells me. And when I do take care of myself, everything works better. If you’re in the middle of this or just starting, stick with it. Sometimes your body just needs the right reset and the right support to finally start responding. This really did change things for me. Hey everyone Dr Cody wanted me to share how far I've come in 179 days on the program I'm down a total of 43 lbs and 36 inches and I'm going to share my photos which is a big step for me.

Two week Mark
Okay I’m officially down 9 lbs at the two week mark. I am extremely excited about this considering I am in active menopause and recovering from GLP-1 use for a year and a half. It still amazes me that eating all this food (9 ounces) that I can barely fit in my stomach at one time is what’s causing my success. Does it blow anyone else’s mind that eating more means weighing less??
Garlic-Ginger Beef + Zucchini Ribbons
Had to share another recipe win that even the kids loved (that’s my benchmark for sharing with you all, if my 7 & 9 yr old like it) - on day 38 and still discovering new sustainable ways for this to work long-term! Garlic-Ginger Beef with Zucchini Ribbons (Do Zucchini first so it marinates) Zucchini Ribbons - 4-5 medium zucchini, shaved into ribbons - 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar - 2–3 tbsp water - 1½ tsp liquid aminos - Tiny pinch compliant sweetener (optional) - Pinch sea salt Shave zucchini into large shallow bowl, pour marinade over, toss to mix. Let marinade 15-30 min tossing occasionally. Beef - 3 lbs 97/7 ground beef (I cook all meat at 3+ lbs at a time because I’m cooking for a family of 4 and want leftovers) - 6–8 cloves garlic, minced - 2–3 tbsp fresh grated ginger - ½ cup compliant liquid aminos - 4–5 tsp apple cider vinegar - 1 cup water or broth - 2–3 tbsp cauliflower flour (whisk thoroughly into cold liquid before adding), this is just for thickening, you could probably do without. Brown 3 lbs beef in a large skillet - Drain excess fat if needed. Whisk sauce again, pour into pan. Stir until thickened (3–5 minutes). Plate cold zucchini first, then spoon warm beef over top. Garnish with green onions, red bell peppers, & sesame seeds for color. Also peeled oranges, mixed with mint and fresh squeezed lime juice to complete the rainbow! *chef’s kiss* Hope you try it!
