IS IT HARD...OR DO YOU JUST NOT NOTICE IT'S HARD, WHEN YOU'RE LOVING IT??
I discovered & have been watching Leila Hormozi on YouTube the past week (love her voice, and delivery) and she was waxing poetic on how real change requires SACRIFICE.
Keeping in mind that she's the multi-millionaire CEO of Acquisition.com and LOVES to bust-ass:
That "It will take time, and be hard."
The mindset shifts necessary for true change take 1.5-2 years for you to reprogram.
She says we have to give up thinking it will be EASY.
There's no magic bullet. (I totally agree with this one...)
Others I've heard have different beliefs:
1) when you're working toward your desired true calling, things flow and it feels easy, not like a struggle. (Maxwell Maltz, Psycho-Cybernetics)
2) When you're on the divine path going the right way for YOU, things just magically appear for you.
The universe is working FOR you, not against you. You're no longer swimming upstream.
says it doesn't feel like WORK - work is love made visible.
Maybe Leila is talking about massive business success?
Or is everybody right?
Yes, contrast experiences pop up when we're shooting for the stars; could Leila be referring to that, as what's "hard?"
Could Tom's "doesn't feel like work" be because he's just so excited about his mission and true calling? Would the same effort feel different to someone else? He's exercised the muscle of determination for a long, long time.
