Who else likes orzo?
I feel it's so unreasonable that I like it so much when it's literally just pasta in a different shape 😂 Key with keeping pasta dinners low calorie is not going by the recommended portion. Most people don't need 75g (raw weight) pasta each. I'd suggest cutting pasta portions down to 60 or 65g raw weight, and bulking out with protein & veggies, for a leaner dish. This dinner was a bit kiss-me-quick but pretty tasty. Extras that went in: oregano, a bit of ketchup!, Tabasco, garlic granules & chicken stock cube. Beans were added for bulk and a dash more protein & fibre.

Looks so average, tastes delish!
Would recommend this one! This BBQ sauce recipe is from a Jamie Oliver book and it's so so good! I've done this with turkey mince to make it leaner. A great one pot dish, easy to freeze & reheat. I made this for 4, so I had 2 dinners ready to go another time.

A big welcome one and all! 🤗
What a better way to kick off the community posts with my dinner tonight! This was a really filling & experimental dinner. We've got a roasted butternut squash, leek & chicken pasta with chilli & rosemary 😍 - Leeks = prebiotics and flavour! - Butternut squash = very low calorie, so you can really volume eat it, which helps keep you full for less cals - Wholewheat pasta = controlled portion, good fibre and a little helping of protein - Chicken = protein! Overall, the dish has 51.8g protein, 9.8g fibre and is under 650 cals!
A big welcome one and all! 🤗
