Social Media Christmas Tale
’Twas the night before Christmas, in the social media sphere, Not a keyboard was stirring, not even a click to hear. The hashtags were hung by the profiles with care, In hopes that viral moments soon would be there. The influencers nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of likes and shares danced in their heads. And mamma in her filters, and I in my feeds, Had just settled our brains for some content-y needs. When out on the web there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Away to my laptop I flew like a flash, Tore open the apps and cleared out the cache. The glow of the screen on the new-fallen snow, Gave a lustre of midday to objects below. When what to my wondering eyes did appear, But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny rein-deer. With a little old driver so lively and quick, I knew in a moment he must be St. Nick. More rapid than eagles, his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name: “Now Facebook! now Threads! now Pinterest and Vixen! On Instagram! on LinkedIn! on Skool and on Blitzen! To the top of the feed! to the top of the wall! Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!” As posts flew like snowflakes across every screen, Engagement was sparkling, the vibes were pristine. Stories and Reels spread joy far and wide, While comments rolled in with pure holiday pride. He left behind value, connection, and cheer, No salesy agendas, no algorithm fear. Just kindness, community, showing up true, A reminder of why we do what we do. Then off he zoomed upward, the feeds glowing bright, Leaving content creators wrapped up for the night. And I heard him exclaim as he logged off instead, “Create with intention — now go get some rest!” For in our hearts and in our Threads, The spirit of Christmas forever spreads

Holiday Party Time
I know everyone is slipping into holiday mode real soon. So here’s my question? Are you traveling somewhere over the holidays? If so, where? We are just gonna stay right here on Airdrie, maybe head out to the mountains for a day or two.

Real question because I’m curious…
Are you: • a multiple tabs open kind of person • a write-it-on-a sticky-note person • or a “I’ll remember this” person (who absolutely will not) No wrong answers.

☕Let's Chat
Real talk. Communities like The Content Shift don’t run on perfection or pressure. They run on coffee and people actually jumping into the conversation. I just dropped How to Refresh Your Social Media Strategy for 2026 and The Content Shift Strategy Planner for 2026 into the Classroom for Level 2 members, and those resources are there for the folks who are engaging, asking questions, and sharing what they’re thinking. Getting to Level 2 isn’t complicated. Comment. Ask. Agree. Disagree (kindly). Share an idea. Add to the conversation in a way that helps someone else. So consider this your open invite. Pull up a chair. Grab your coffee. What’s one thing you’re thinking about when it comes to your content for 2026? ☕️
