8 Years. Still Here. Let's Celebrate. 🎉
I honestly wasn't sure how to mark this one. 8 years since I went all in on Stacey on Social, and I kept thinking — how do you celebrate something like that without it feeling like a performance? Then I saw @Krista Brea 's 🎂 birthday post on KDP Publishing Skool and thought, yes. That's it. Community first. That's always been the answer. So I'm borrowing her idea,wishing her a happy birthday, and bringing it here. The Content Shift exists because I got tired of content advice that burned people out. Eight years in, that mission hasn't changed. It's just gotten clearer. Here's how I want to celebrate, let's invite new members and help our community grow. My goal has been to hit 100 before April, can you help reach it? 👉 Affiliate is on. If you know a coach, consultant, or service provider who is exhausted by the post-every-day hamster wheel and ready to build something sustainable — send them here. This community was built for them. Every member you invite is a gift. Not just to me, but to them. Thank you for being part of this. Genuinely. 😉🍾

Happy 8 YEARS!!
Social Saturday
Drop your links below and let's actually follow each other. If you've got a Skool community, share that too — we want to know what you're building. Here's how to play: - Drop your most recent post (or a link to your profile) on whatever platform you're most active on right now. - Give someone else's post some love before you leave. And if you've got a Skool, tell us what's happening in there lately. We spend all week talking about building a content ecosystem, let's support each other as we build these out.

Archive anything that doesn't represent you anymore.
Last social task -- and this one is entirely optional but really freeing. Go through your recent posts and archive anything that no longer represents where your business is headed. Old offers you don't sell. Content from a niche you've moved away from. Posts that feel misaligned with who you're serving now. You don't have to delete anything. Archiving keeps it off your profile without losing it permanently. You're not erasing your history. You're just curating what a new visitor sees when they land on your page. A profile that feels cohesive and current does quiet work for you every day. Do as much or as little as feels right. Even archiving two or three things counts. Next section coming up: email marketing. Slightly more involved but still totally manageable, I promise. Did you archive anything? What made the cut to stay and what got tucked away?

Do you know if we can archive posts in Skool? So far, I haven't had anyone help me figure out if this is possible! I don't want to lose all the research, but I also don't think all the posts need to be here. Definitely don't want to delete!

@Stacey Watts yes!! Exactly!!
How does your inbox look now vs. when we started
Here's one that might feel a little uncomfortable at first. You're going to do a bulk delete. Not everything. Just the stuff that's been sitting there untouched for 3+ months that you're never actually going to deal with. I know the feeling -- "but what if I need it later?" Here's the thing though. If you genuinely needed it, you'd find it again. You'd search, you'd ask, you'd Google it. Most of those "just in case" emails aren't really about needing the information. They're just anxiety that learned to organize itself into a folder. A few fast ways to find things to delete in bulk: - Search a sender name and wipe the whole thread at once. (Thank you @Melissa Boster for this one) - Search "receipt" or "order confirmation" for old ones you'll never look at again. - Search "newsletter" and clear out anything you haven't opened. You're not going for inbox zero. You're going for a number that doesn't make you cringe when you open it. My inbox on my business email was over 9000🤦‍♀️and now it's under 5000 🤷‍♂️-- I tell you this not to brag, but because watching a number shift (even a little) is one of the most underrated motivators in business. It makes the invisible feel real. Same goes for your inbox. When you clear even 200 emails, something shifts. Suddenly the next task feels more doable. The next decision feels lighter. A small number on a screen tells your brain: you're in control of this. What number did you starting with, and what are you aiming for? ✨️The two-minute rule✨️ If an email takes less than two minutes to respond to or deal with -- do it now. Don't leave it as a mental bookmark. That's how the pile rebuilds. And if you haven't already -- turn off email notifications. Checking email on your own schedule instead of reacting to every ping is one of the lowest-effort things you can do to keep that calm inbox feeling going. That's it for inbox week. Small effort, genuinely satisfying. Next up we're moving to your social profiles -- quick wins, easy updates, nothing complicated.

Thanks for the shout out! I try to do a bulk delete at least once per month…. And fully admit I get behind a lot 😂
Monday Content Ideas — The "Your Story Is the Strategy" Edition
This week, we're pulling from the stuff that already lives inside you. No trend-chasing. No performing. Just real stories and real expertise that remind people why they followed you in the first place. Pick one. Start there. 1️⃣ The Childhood Dream Reframe The Hook: "When I was a kid, I wanted to be a ___" The Goal: Share what little-you had planned, then connect the dots to the work you do now. The throughline is almost always more relevant than it seems. This builds connection and positioning at the same time. Prompt for members: What did you want to be growing up? What's the thread between that and the work you do today? 2️⃣ The "Growing Up" Pivot The Hook: "Here's what actually happened when I grew up" The Goal: Not the highlight reel version. The moment you outgrew a belief, a method, or a version of how you used to work, and what you chose instead. Prompt for members: What did you have to unlearn to become better at what you do? 3️⃣ The Energy Equation The Hook: "Here's how I protect my energy so I can actually show up" The Goal: Walk them through your real approach, not a productivity list. What you guard, what you batch, what you've stopped apologizing for. Specific and honest beats polished every time. Prompt for members: What's one boundary, habit, or decision that changed how sustainable your business feels? 4️⃣ The Hard Client Story The Hook: "This client situation didn't go the way I expected" The Goal: Share a moment something went sideways, how you handled it, and what you'd do differently. This takes courage, which is exactly why it lands. Your people will trust you more for it, not less. Prompt for members: What did a difficult client experience teach you about your process, your offers, or yourself? 5️⃣ The Question You Keep Answering The Hook: "I answer this question constantly, and I've never actually posted about it" The Goal: Their best content is already living inside their client work. This prompt pulls it out and puts it where it belongs, in public, building authority.

Great ideas! I've been working on some of the "younger self" issues this week, this gave me some tie ins. Thanks for sharing!

@Stacey Watts number 6&7 are going to be helpful ~ I’m asking the ladies to state their goal out loud…so answering the question about what it’s like to work with us seems natural. And tying in that you can’t google 35 years of nursing experience…. Super helpful perspective in my opinion!! Thank you 😊
