A cold call in a costume
Full shop. No open bays. Nobody quitting.
He still keeps a bench. A few names in a spreadsheet, a couple resumes, some numbers in his phone.
A bay opens. He reaches out. "Sorry, took a job last month."
Every time. So he figured a bench just goes cold. Nothing you can do.
The bench was never the problem. A list you only touch when you're desperate isn't a bench. It's a cold call in a costume.
Warm benches aren't built by better storage. You give the tech a reason to pick up before there's a job on the other end.
