YouTube Shorts aspect ratio 1080X1080 works for shorts

I recently discovered (new to me) an exciting tip for those of you who produce YouTube Shorts. Did you know that YouTube automatically qualifies videos with a 1080x1080 resolution or a square aspect ratio as Shorts?

This information can be a game-changer if you want to repurpose your long-form content for Shorts or simply desire a slightly wider view for your original Shorts. I personally learned about it and successfully applied it earlier this week!

So, if you're interested in exploring new possibilities with your Shorts, keep in mind that using a 1080x1080 resolution or sticking to a square format gives you a bit more canvas to work with.
