Does anyone have experience with Audio Interfaces?

Hey Synthesizers,

Let's see if someone can resolve this issue.

I bought a camera Sony Alpha 6100, a microphone Shure SM7B and an audio interface Focusrite Scarlett 3rd gen.

The question is: Can I connect everything to the audio interface directly, and have the audio recorded on my camera?

A lot of people I see record the video and then the audio separately (for example on my Macbook), but it would be interesting to record everything together in the camera so I don't have to sync it together later in the edit.
