Yesterday I received and email from a client whom I had sent a audition to. The platform shows if they listened ( which they did) and if they like they can shortlist you ( which on the platform they DID NOT). After the cordial greetings they mentioned that they had selected me as 1 of the 5 finalist for the job ( electric truck manufacturers). Their question was that they were pressed to meet deadline and if I was selected for the job would I be able to provide a turnaround by the end ( end of day) this was at 3pm est and their end was 7pm est. My response was ABSOLUTELY ( yes actual response all caps) . At 4 pm o recieced a response that they were going in another direction, but the representative stated that I was his choice. Would I mind if they added me to there personal list of vo artists as to avoid the hassles of searching ? Again I responded yes and thanked them for just being considered
Your customer service , wether you do or don't get that job can determine your jobs in the future , and establish your reputation
