MY FIRST NO HESITATION BOOKING!
So I put my prices up and had quite a few people mention that im out of budget/ too expensive or people that Ive had to like convert to book. However today I had my first "no questions or hesitation" booking today! I sent her my packages and after seeing them and seeing my content etc she didnt wanna miss out on booking me so she booked and paid her deposit within 6 hours of first contact! So stoked!!
More inquiries!
I know these numbers may seem small, but it's a win for me! Just within this week, I've had 5 inquiries, 4 of which asked for contracts, and 3 of which booked me!! And this is BEFORE I have even worked hard on social media and posting (I'll be hyper focusing on that in the upcoming months). Just feeling so good and thankful, especially because I quit working with a bridal team this year to go fully independent.
Huge win today!
Im so excited! I recently updated my website to show the 2026 package pricing increase with a disclaimer that the new pricing goes into effect on December 1. Well, a bride reached out and said she wanted to book one of the packages now! I think switching from a la carte to 5 different package options is going to be good! Can't wait for the call on the 27th to hopefully make this transition even better!
Okay, time to reinvent
I did a comparison from my 2024 👉2025 and here’s what’s new: 🤍im getting more inquiries — yay! 🤩 🤍conversion dipped slightly (2024: 35% to 2025: 29%) but that’s because I increased my prices so my new audience is adjusting lol.. — also a yay 🤩 🤍my “out of their budget” inquires dropped percentage wise so I went from 23% in 2024 to 9% in 2025 — yay! 🤩 💔 need to work on getting ghosted… less. In 2024 I was getting ghosted 54% and in 2025 I was getting ghosted 66% How do I know my follow ups are working properly? I have the same set up from BBA 2023. Do brides want more, instant info after they submit an inquiry? Like instead of sending them the courtesy email of “here are my admin days, let’s connect on IG in the meantime” should I be sending an overview of my packages and list dates I’m available so they know what to expect from my next email? Help!
First time glam wave!
Just wanted to share my first time doing glam waves! The odds were kind of against us here... bride switched to glam waves after first trial and didn't have time to book a second one, bought clip in extensions that she hadn't used before and wasn't sure if the color would match (her fiance ordered them and somehow picked the PERFECT extensions), and I've never actually done glam waves before this😅 I watched Marissa's glam waves theory and demo (multiple times lol) to prepare and it helped SOOO much! I can absolutely see where I need to improve and pivot with my technique but I'm really proud for this being my first attempt🤭 Would love any additional tips or advice though for how you handle glam waves!
