Goals for the First Full Week of 2026
As today is Tuesday the 6th, my mission is set clear, and that is to utilize this week to be in a better spot mentally and to build on with the healthy habits that I’ve been doing for a strong start to the upcoming semester and a great 2026 as a whole.
Therefore, I shall continue to pray and meditate on the Word to have a deeper relationship with God, and I shall continue with my fasting protocol and do my fitness and nutrition protocol as well (5-6 days in the gym + Portioned out meals, consisting mainly protein and vegetables). Then, I shall strive to get 8-9 hours of sleep each night to keep the healthy and productive cycle going.
I have been more than a week free from lust, and more than three weeks on retention, so I have been having that streak going and avoiding temptation.
The main thing is that when a situation gets difficult, I shall be sure to recognize those more often and ask St. Michael the Archangel to deliver me from that intense situation and find my way back to God.
I know that God sent St. Michael to assist me in this battle for these very reasons, and I got great help from him to rise up in battle and rebuke all evil and wickedness and find my way back to God.
I thank St. Michael for assisting me in these times, and most importantly, I thank Jesus for sending him as an assist to help me find my way back to You and to follow You more closely on Your path throughout this journey.
Another impactful activity I have been doing is diving deep into the book of Job. Reading Job’s story of his struggles and how he dealt with adversity by remaining with God through the difficult times is influential on our journeys because it is very similar to what we deal with on a daily basis.
The most impactful verses I’ve come across thus far are Job 5:17-18 saying: ““Blessed is the person whom God corrects. That person should not despise discipline from the Almighty. God injures, but he bandages. He beats you up, but his hands make you well.”
These have touched me the most because it is living proof that God loves us and is with us every step of the way, and He makes go through difficult trials because it is the only way that He can change us to improve on a daily basis, and the purpose of suffering is to change and grow as people and to find our way to living out our God-given purpose.
I shall continue to dive deeper into Job because it will help me to understand my journey better relating to his journey and it will help me to persevere and become stronger spiritually.
Those are my goals throughout this week, and I shall work towards accomplishing them, as I shall live my faith and not by motivation. I shall continue to use the resources I have and grow closer towards Christ in all the activities that I do.
Your prayers are appreciated at this time for sticking with this set of goals and that I resist temptation along the way.
God Bless you all and peace be with you🕊️🙏🏻💓💗✝️
