I just discovered caliversity and I do not know exactly how to start . I have been doing calisthenics for six months with this routine:
push day
Push ups
Dips
Pike push ups
Hollow body holds (and, or ) crunches
I use the two set method which is like this:
Two sets in which you go to absolute failure where i can not do one more and then I do five slow negatives of each exercice.
Pull day:
Pull ups
Australian rows
Chin ups
Leg raises
Again same rep range
I do push pull push pull and one leg exercise each day.
And can you tell me how good my workout is. And if I should change it do the drop sets you mention in the classroom or should I continue with this one?
And if it’s better for me to do drop sets how many exercises per day? I do push pull push pull and one leg exercises each day. Should I do for pull day only pull ups and on push dips or even better pike push ups? where do I start doing drop sets I mean I have 12 pull ups what would be the rep number if the first sub set?
If you need to know I can do 42 consecutive push ups, about 25 dips, 12 pull-ups. I have been doing calisthenics for six months.
