1. I prefer performing barbell squats, a gym exercise
2.Even though I can do 5 assisted pistol squats on each leg, the barbell squat is my favourite exercise for my lower body. Although the main muscle targeted for pistol squats is the quads, the barbell squat targets all the other muscles such as glutes and adductor on top of hitting the quads. I also feel that I can progressively overload better, and have mind-muscle connection when doing barbell squats.
