Travelling Tai Chi and Teddy bears
Hey Guys,
This post clearly isn’t Tai Chi related but as we have become a wonderful community over the last few months, I thought I’d share 😊
I’ve just come back from Thailand watching my son Matt, get married to his beautiful girlfriend of 7 years Bamee (About time he made her an honest woman!)
It was a wonderful wedding, exciting, emotional and fun.
It mixed cultures seamlessly and people travelled from all over the world to rejoice with the happy couple.
There were very many tears and just as many laughs.
I was an immensely proud Dad and unusually for the Father of the groom had to give a speech. This I’m happy to say went and afterwards I could relax and make merry.
I brought, like a good student, my Qi Gong and Tai Chi with me though.
I can recommend incorporating “body circles” with "advancing and retreating" to your dance moves. It works really well if mixed with a little Tango 😊
Once the wedding was over, we all travelled to the paradise island of Koh Lanta for a group holiday.
As someone who lives nowhere near the sea, Qi Gong on a stunning Thai beach to start each day was utter bliss. I might have forgotten my stick, but the rest of RA’s training travels very well.
PS - The Bear is a long story
