Fear elimination
Let’s use BDTS as an example.
If we use Bottom Dollar Truth Serum…
And they said, “No, I’m not going lower.”
If the truth was he/she gave you his/her bottom dollar…that’s perfectly acceptable.
When I moved away from thinking in terms of “failure” and “success” my fear evaporated and my life blossomed.
We do a thing…
We get a result…
The result we want with BDTS is to get to TRUTH.
If you got that…
You got the result BDTS was designed for.
Adding “thought” about did I “win” or “lose” CAUSES fear.
Then we have thoughts around what our loss or win means about us…which causes more fear.
Then if we believe the story we can’t take action when we are having fearful thoughts…
We won’t use BDTS (or other tools) at all.
Then…
We sit still in a stew of fear and watch life pass us by and call the people having fun “lucky” or anoint them with some “advantage” or “specialness” we don’t have.
We can just drop all that.
We don’t need to add meaning to events.
It’s a habit.
The first step to overcoming a habit is SEEING that you’re engaging in it.
The second step is to stop.
Then repeat.
The habit will disappear.
So will fear.
But you don’t even need to wait.
We don’t need to be fearless before we make a bold move.
