Confusing Pre-Auction with Auction

I'm about to post a pre-auction post for my list/offers/audience.

But while I'm writing, I'm sweating up the deal.

(I don't typically get a lot of hand raisers, so I feel more benefits is important)

But the more I write, the more I feel like I'm selling/trying to get real auction hand-raisers now.

Please help.

What's necessary or not necessary to validate an auction?

Or is there a way to make this the actual auction??
