Sep '23 • Opening Convos & Coffee Dates

I'm a classically trained overthinker, and I am terrible at taking imperfect action (I actually kinda hate it).
I have conservatively listened to 30+ hours of Travis videos getting up to speed - so many that it's strange to be on a live call where the speed is not 1.5x!
Finally, even my left brain had to throw in the towel and realize that there is too much information in Travis's courses, groups, etc., to get through and retain. AND none of that is making the cash register ring.
I did get really clear on a handful of folks I'd like to work with and reached out. Here are the stats so far:
- I sent messages to six people, two who know me fairly well and four who don't know me at all.
- I quickly got responses from 5
- I've had a coffee date with one, not a great potential partner, but I realized I knew more than I thought I did
- I have two more coffee dates scheduled
- I'm in hot pursuit of the other person who responded positively but hasn't booked a Zoom
