How long have you been waiting for the perfect time to start? The perfect conditions. The perfect opportunity. The perfect day. How long have you been talking about what you’re going to do? A week? A month? A year? Talk is cheap. Everybody talks. Everybody has plans. Everybody has intentions. Very few people actually do the work. The hierarchy is simple: Actions. Results. Words. In that order. Your words don’t mean a damn thing if your actions don’t back them up. You can say you want to get in shape. You can say you want to build a business. You can say you want a better life. But if your actions don’t match your mouth… None of it matters. Every great accomplishment starts with action. Not motivation. Not inspiration. Not another plan. Action. And then more action. Day after day. Week after week. Year after year. That’s how anything worthwhile gets built. The truth is… Nobody cares about what you’re going to do. They care about what you’ve done. They care about what you’re doing. They care about the results. The world is full of people who talk about their dreams. Very few are willing to do the work required to make them real. We attended a good friend’s wedding yesterday at a beautiful venue, and it was a fantastic day spent with family and friends. My son was unofficially recognized as the best-dressed man in attendance 🤣. The best part is that he picked out almost his entire outfit himself with very little input from me. For the wedding, I wore a beige linen suit paired with a light blue check dress shirt, brown penny loafers, a brown belt, and a Seiko dive watch. My son chose a blue-and-white seersucker suit—a Southern classic—along with a white dress shirt, straw fedora with a blue band, brown woven belt, and brown penny loafers. I was proud to see him put together such a classic, age-appropriate outfit and wear it with confidence. Here are a few photos of our family from the wedding.
