This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Bandanas/neckerchief
Gentlemen: I have seen some videos and read that a bandana/neckerchief can be a great accessory in a man's styling journey. Has anyone here ever worn one? Is this style aspect a real thing? I think most of this would be part of a casual attire, but all of us love the casual style too (though I am particularly more aligned to this). Please share pictures of yourselves wearing this piece or enlighten us.
Duffel Coat Fit & Stiffness
Hello Gentlemen, I have come across a duffel coat and would like to understand whether it fits. I did two tests for its fit. The first test, I wore it on its own over an OCBD shirt and it felt snug on me, like a great fit, but when I tried moving me arms, I felt a bit constricted, due to the heaviness of the wool in the coat. In the second test, I wore it over a suit jacket. When I stood still, I did not feel any problems. But once I started moving my arms, I felt constricted once again due to the heaviness of the coat. The coat fit overall is looser than a suit jacket (so it can be layered on top of a suit jacket), 1 inch wider at the shoulders, a couple inches wider at the chest, and the sleeve length covers the wrist and is above the pinch of the hand. Is this constriction of movement normal for this coat? Is it something that will loosen up with repeated wears? I found the coat in a thrift store so may have already been worn for a long time, so this may not be the case. Thank you for reading my message!

Buntyn’s Tie Challenge Day 6
Today I’ve got the Vintage Olive Red Kap Work Trousers with the Pink RL Button Down. The Tie carries a hint of that Pink in its Fine Stripes. Still a little chilly out, so I’m trying this Tweed Jacket from Bill Blass that I found last weekend. Brown Belt and Loafers. Speaking of Last Weekend, I was walking Hermes, the Small Dog, down by the creek. There was an indigenous boy, 12-14ish fishing. He told me “Nice Suit, Sir”. Even though it wasn’t technically a Suit. At the grocery store, it seems like strangers smile more when they see me. One guy seemed almost startled.

CW = critiques welcome! Moderately busy day, but no time to derive a long back story for the day! Always plenty to do, so let's go, gentleman, and get it done today! • Odd Jacket — DOJ-010 (Ralph Lauren): A classic navy wool blazer from Ralph Lauren, featuring rope and padded shoulders with high armholes for a sharp, athletic silhouette. Full polyester lining with brass/gold buttons and small notch lapels—perfect for projecting executive authority on a client video conference without the full formality of a matched suit. • Slacks — SL-002 (Unnamed): Dark charcoal textured wool slacks with light gray secondary tones, offering subtle visual depth and versatility. The textured weave pairs beautifully with the navy blazer, creating a sophisticated odd-jacket-and-separates look ideal for blending client-facing professionalism with internal meeting practicality. • Shirt — DS-044 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A crisp white non-iron poplin French cuff dress shirt with a semi-spread collar (5" spread, 2.8" height). The medium opacity, soft hand, and square-edge French cuffs elevate the look while remaining comfortable for an all-day wear—a perfect canvas for the navy grenadine tie. • Undershirt — US-003 (Pro Club): Heavy white cotton crew neck undershirt providing excellent coverage under the medium-opacity dress shirt. The substantial weight ensures no show-through while maintaining comfort throughout the day. • Tie — NT-041 (Fort Belvedere): A true navy grenadine silk tie from Fort Belvedere—3-fold construction, untipped, and hand-finished with a rich matte texture. The 3.5" width and 58.5" length tie beautifully in a Half-Windsor, projecting understated executive authority perfect for client-facing video calls. • Vest — VWC-001 (Hugo Boss): A formal black Super 120 worsted wool vest with 4-button front and silver rear buckle. The contrast of black against the navy blazer creates visual depth and adds a layer of executive polish—ideal for elevating the jacket-and-separates look.
