This Sunday we move back to Regular Time in the Chuch Year which means the paraments are green. So today I wore my madras jacket which includes green in the pattern with brown trousers, a grey Winchester shirt and brown brogued derbies. To further accentuate the green on the alter I wore a green bow tie, green pocket square and a green and white fedora. (Please note that hat was only wore for the picture and not during the service.) After service, we went home and I took off my jacket and hat and made lunch. After lunch I put on that brown linen newsboy cap and left for the Shamrock Club meeting. It is always amazing how changing to things radically change the look of an outfit.

My lovely wife and I just returned from our Sunday, and what a transformational message delivered. For today’s service my outfit strikes a fine balance between professional polish and quiet confidence, making it exceptionally well-suited for Sunday worship. The subtle plaid sport coat, light blue check shirt, and tailored khaki trousers create a harmonious palette that conveys refinement without appearing overly formal or self-conscious. The dark suede Chelsea boots (a nod to my Texan influences ) and silver chronograph introduce just enough personality and contemporary flair to distinguish the look while remaining respectful of the setting. Altogether the attire projects the image of a gentleman who understands that dressing well for church is not about drawing attention to himself, but about honoring the occasion with dignity, taste, and understated elegance.

I'm a boot guy, but i found out I could cutom order Converse shoes. I couldn't resist, so I built out a pair and ordered them. First time wearing them out today, andthey did alright.
