Next week Tuesday, Feb 17th @ 5PM Central USA we’re bringing on Eric Bandholtz, founder of Beardbrand, for a private live Q&A. If you’ve ever wondered… - How to build a men’s brand that actually stands out (and doesn’t look like everyone else) - What separates “a guy with a beard” from a groomed, intentional look - The biggest grooming mistakes that silently kill first impressions - What to do if your beard won’t cooperate (patchy, wiry, uneven, too bulky) - The truth about beard oils, balms, washes, and what matters vs. marketing fluff - How Eric thinks about identity, confidence, and personal style as a grown man ...THEN YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS CALL! ✅ Premium & VIP members: you’re already in — see you on the call. 👀 Free members: this is your sign to upgrade. “there's three thing we're never late for: church, work and fishing“Rev Paul Mc Clean in A River a River Through it
We learned that my Daughter in Law’s mid 90 year old grandparents attended church about 3 minutes from our check out point of the resort at approximately the same time as checkout so when my DiL asked if we could attend church with them of course we said yes. I threw my houndstooth tweed over my outfit that I knew I would be wearing while fishing in the afternoon. My son had his Filson duck motif shirt and each of us got some new Levi’s at the outlet store yesterday. My son Guy has been fishing here with me since he was 7 ( he turned 27 on Friday. ). He nailed two pretty good sized rainbows in the hour we fished. I got two slightly smaller ones in the net and three more jumped off early one of which put a good bend in my 6w Sage rod. Guy has developed into quite a fly caster in the 13 years he’s been throwing a fly rod with me. We have painted the walls and ceiling in the new room, our wonderful neighbors have put in a complaint (another one agaisnt us) believing we have built something we are not allowed. So we have council coming out to inspect the room for compliance, if only the neighbors read the rules and regulation. I have a wonderful wife who loves paperwork, research and regulations. I mean this is what she does within the Royal Australian Airforce as a job after all. Oh Well. I grabbed some photo’s from the inside today and then had a play with Canva and the AI background generator. I went with a more traditional look in the Charcoal Suit but added some fun with the tie and pocket square. Todays outfit consist of; M.J. Bale Aston Suit in Charcoal Charles Tyrwhitt Cutaway Collar Non-Iron Stretch Kensington Weave Shirt in Stone OTAA Oracabessa Knitted Tie OTAA Yardbird Wool Pocket Square OTAA Shinning Silver Tie Bar Ecco Vitrus II Apron Toe Slip-On Mitch Dowd Diamond Socks in Grey and Black SOTD - JPG Scandal Parfum (its my Signature Scent) WOTD - Monterey Black Tip GMT (Alfred)
