Washer Machine suggestions

Good Morning Gentlemen,

My washer machine died this weekend. Started making a wonderful grinding noise and stopped turning. Now usually price would make the decision pretty easy, as I get picky with do I really need the extras, but with Black Friday here I have lots more options, a good thing no sarcasm. Anyone bought a washer machine recently or have a favorite feature they use? Feel free to add things you might not use but are easier with having kids or outdoor work, because they apply to me. Thank you
