Tux help needed
Wedding, but not in the wedding party. I'm 63yo 6' in shape. I go to a gentleman's store
Brides mother is my date. I have a formal black wool. Shawl lapel, flat front trousers. Jacket is fitted, and I have a full vest. I bought a pair of the Oxfords that John C recommended.
I'm wanting to be very cool, formal, relaxed. Not snooty. What accessories do I use to make this tux pop while still staying formal.
1- I'm thinking most on the shirt. No black buttons. What kind of collar? What brand of tux shirt?
2-Socks, can I go with something fun like black with small white polka dots? Or formal black?
3-cufflinks,
4-suspenders,
6-better vest?
7-What color pocket square? Do I have to go black?
8- can I fit the pants different? They seem baggy to me. Where to I edit them, what do I tell the seemstress?
Give me any of your experienced tricks that make this a sweet set up.
