Tux help needed
Wedding, but not in the wedding party. I'm 63yo 6' in shape. I go to a gentleman's store Brides mother is my date. I have a formal black wool. Shawl lapel, flat front trousers. Jacket is fitted, and I have a full vest. I bought a pair of the Oxfords that John C recommended. I'm wanting to be very cool, formal, relaxed. Not snooty. What accessories do I use to make this tux pop while still staying formal. 1- I'm thinking most on the shirt. No black buttons. What kind of collar? What brand of tux shirt? 2-Socks, can I go with something fun like black with small white polka dots? Or formal black? 3-cufflinks, 4-suspenders, 6-better vest? 7-What color pocket square? Do I have to go black? 8- can I fit the pants different? They seem baggy to me. Where to I edit them, what do I tell the seemstress? Give me any of your experienced tricks that make this a sweet set up.

Didn't know what I should do with buttons then. White Pearl sounds good though. Pocket square, white... Can I put any design into the bow tie? Texture?

@Alan Dormire Hi, I just found out the men in the wedding party are now wearing suits. So I should not wear my tux, to outshine them? Can you give me any advice. I have plenty of suits. Wedding party is in gray, groom is in navy. Father is in navy. Mom is my date. 6yrs in now. 3 piece? Date is in lavender. Brides maid are all some kind of purple. Everybody is wearing their own suits and dresses, just color themed apparently. Give me some advice, and ill take a photo and have you check me. I really appreciate it

Wedding event. Looking to buy a new pair of shoes for my tux. What style of shoe would you go with? Brand? Plain, cap, or wingtip? Would you ever style black dress boots with a tux?

That looks nice! Everything fits excellent. Love a jacket with patch pockets. Bonobos is good value. Pocket square, sleeves are trim! On point. Have you ever though about rocking a ring?

02/19 GOING OUT TO A CAFE
