When you judge a person or product, are you aware of specific attributes, or only your overall impression? Are you aware of your own Halo Effect?
When I judge a person or product, I am often not aware that I am judging them based on their overall impression. For example, I often buy Nike products because of my impression of the brand, instead of being aware of attributes such as, the material and comfort level. I am aware of my own Halo Effect because I always dress professionally for work and people associate me as a hard worker and very likeable.
