The (more nuanced) style pyramid

Some of the best dressed gentlemen in this group show us the way on how to elevate our style. The foundation that we all know is the 3F pyramid: Fir, Fabric, and Function. A dimension of style that seamlessly works with the 3F structure is the fourth F-FLEXIBILITY with colors and patterns.

Seen red and diagonally striped ties?

Amazingly attractive socks?

Muted colors working well interchangeably is another example.

Using the color wheel for non-traditional colors is another.

To substantiate my point, I am adding three of my own examples. You must have also seen some great examples from our group members.

Some work in formal and semi-formal contexts and the rest in casual ones.

Let me know what you think about this "theoretical elaboration." The PhD research experience in me just doe not fade (we develop theories during research!).
