Tailor or New Clothes
So, I bought a couple of new shirts this weekend including the white Alfani dress shirt I’m wearing today. This shirt fits me well through the shoulders and waist. However, being a small guy, 5’6”, the arms and shirt bottom are too long for me. I run into this with just about all of my clothes. Same thing with the slacks; I can find a good fit but not in the length I need. So, my question is, noting that I have quite a few office staples, should I buy new clothes that fit better or should I get them tailored? So far, I have not bought overly expensive clothes. Most of my shirts and pants cost around $50 - $100. I don’t believe you have to buy the most expensive items on the rack. I do believe in buying quality items and do get good use out of my clothes. But most importantly, the fit. So, with all of that said, tailor or not? Thanks for any advice gents.
