Stepping Out Of comfort Zone

I had been running consistently for a while now and after my old beated up gym shoes, turn running shoes got soaked in rain, I knew it was time to treat myself to something new.

My plan was to go to Walmart and get something cheap. But on my way back from an errand, I took a detour-that's when everything changed.

I walked into the local store specializing in running shoes. And from the welcome greet, to picking the right shoes for me, the service was flawless.

There was just one problem, the price. $165! I didn't plan for that. But as I looked at the shoes all I could think about was the confidence I will get from wearing and how happy I will feel. I left the store with it without thinking.

This was my first time buying above my comfort zone. So I am curious, what was the first piece of item you bought that made you buy above your comfort zone? And what was the reason you bought it.
