Promotion Treat

I’m pleased to say that after a year in a new role, my promotion finally came through. It’s been a long road, and there’s still plenty more work to do, but what’s life without a great single malt?

I decided to pick up a bottle of 12 year old Macallan this weekend. I’ve always loved the sweeter whisky’s with fruitier notes. As it stands, Edradour 10 is still my favourite, but this is coming in close. For any whisky lovers out there, I raise a glass to you 🥃

I’m always on the lookout for recommendations too.

(I sketch steam engines as well, yes)

P.S. I don’t actually keep alcohol in my room, I just couldn’t find somewhere with a better shot- pardon the pun 😉
