Loosely woven / densely perforated leather loafers?

I am looking for an alternative to espadrilles that is similarly or more breathable, but more durable and easier to clean.

What do you think about loafers from densely perforated or loosely woven leather (images below)? What vibes do they give? Do you have any brands for these types of shoes you would recommend, or perhaps some alternatives? (The ones below are from Eterno Napoli and Velasca.)
