Leather, Wool and Whisky
Good evening!! I’ve just got back from my trip around the Scottish Highlands, where I’ve been exploring some incredible distilleries.
On this trip through the Scottish Highlands, my Master Supply Co Convoy leather jacket did exactly what I needed it to. Paired with a thick cable-knit jumper and sturdy black zip-up boots, it handled everything from the cold winds by the River Spey, to keeping me warm in our private carriage on the stunning Strathspey Railway.
A couple of weeks ago, I posted about going 2 months without a drink. My first dram marked 10 weeks and it became about rediscovering a passion and learning the art of whisky making. I’ve learned to enjoy alcohol in a healthier way. I don’t want to down pint after pint anymore — I’d rather enjoy something well-made, and actually taste it.
As for the scenery? I could describe it, but they say pictures tell a thousand words.
