Guard Your Energy
You can’t be everyone’s therapist.
And it’s not your job either.
Being there for people when they need you is one thing…
But being everyone’s emotional dumpster will completely drain you to the point where you won’t be able to handle your own shit when you need to.
You only have so much energy.
Protect it.
You can’t allow people to steal it from you.
Make sure you set a boundary and that nobody violates it.
If you don’t…
You’ll end up regretting it.
