Can A Suit Made Of A Casual Fabric Be Worn As Separates? (Specific Example)
It’s fairly well known that you never wear you worsted wool business suit as separates. My question is about different suits, made of linen, tweed, or other fabrics that are considered more casual (although of course it can vary based on fit).
I’ve seen these two pieces that make the same linen suits and I like them. Since I don’t wear suits (much), I’d be willing to know if they can be worn as separates.
wear the trousers with an off white linen shirt and no jacket for example.
Would that look good- or would it look like I am missing the jacket?
