Another weekend day, more estate saling

We headed out early this morning to some north shore sales. I picked up just 2 things - one is a beautiful Agresti mahogany watch box. These are stupid expensive for a watch box, but I got it for $100 which is what I'd have spent on a new one of lesser quality. The other thing I bought was a painting by a Spanish artist. I paid what I wanted to for that, too. But my lady made me look like a rookie with her deals - she bought 2 $450 blouses and 2 $200+ pants all for $15. Way to make me feel like I overpaid. 🤣

The 2nd sale that we went to was walking distance from Fort Sheridan on Lake Michigan and we got a fantastic 3 mile hike in after the sale. The waves were really crashing down - it's difficult to believe that is a lake and not an ocean.
